At four months and one minute at the Straight n’ Curl show in Lebanon, PA,on December 16th, Bravo made his first Finals in a show with over 100 AB Kittens entered. This darling seal point male had the most wonderful time being Judged that a few weeks later, he was BEST KITTEN AB in Liz Watson’s ring and finaled in three other rings.
By the time he was almost five months of age, at the Paumanok Show on Long Island, NY, Bravo was highest scoring Kitten in Show with three back to back BEST KITTENS on Sunday. Moving onto the bigger show scene in Claymont, DE the following W/E, against the most formidable and beautiful, Dalbo Blue Cream Kitten, Daisy Mae, who was almost eight months old, Bravo held his own with seven out of eight Finals and was 5th Highest scoring kitten in show, finishing twenty points lower than his competition.
The last weekend of January will find us in San Diego against a huge field of AB kittens. 109 are entered and I am holding my breath for Bravo. Will this little guy be recognized against such stiff competition or will he fall flat on his darling face?
Yes, we came back from San Diego with almost 300 points and Bravo was 9th
Best All Breed Kitten out of 102 present.
Bravo continued to soar and went weekend after weekend against the best
Kittens in the country taking his last six shows as Best All Breed Kitten
in show.. In total, Bravo had 30 Best Kittens, 26 of them All Breed and
four Specialty. Bravo is ranked as the 4th Best Kitten in the North Atlantic
Region and is 20th Best Kitten Nationally out of twenty-five.
At the Southern Tier Cat Fanciers' Show in Binghamton, April 21, 2007, he
won his six winner's ribbon, was Best of the Seal Points and was 2nd Best of
Division against his Uncle, GC NW BW Sulltans Spin to Win.
He now goes to the last Show of the current season,Sign of the Cat in
Philadelphia, PA., as a Champion to obtain his points to Grand. We are
hoping that he will be a one show Grand.
As befitting National Winning Kitten turned adult Champion, Bravo completed his ONE SHOW GRAND at the Sign of the Cat Show in Philadelphia with 242 Grand Points. A Champion needs to defeat 200 Champions to become a Grand Champion in the Cat Fanciers' Association.
Congratulations to his breeder, Diane Castor and his co-owner, Lori Kerr of Catbery Tail. On May 5th, Bravo was delivered to Lori Kerr and now resides with her in Delmont, PA."
We look to the future when Bravo begins to sire and to stamp his beauty on
new generations of kittens yet unborn.
