Of all of Parfait's kittens, Pioneer, a pale Cream Point, was my favorite. He was breathtakingly beautiful when he was born. If there is one regret I have in selling a show kitten, Pioneer was it. His owners, Bonnie and Mary Keller, of East Stroudsburg, PA brought him back to me at my request when he was six months old to learn how to show bathe their boy. I was over come by this kitten. At his first show, he went Best Kitten AB under Diana Rothermel. In four rings he defeated my own girl Playwickey's Cherry Vanilla. Even I was impressed even though she had a Best Kitten at that show too.
Pioneer finished his Grand in Baltimore and went home to sire kittens. This beautiful boy escaped from the Kellers home some time ago and was never found. It has always been my prayer that he is safe, cared for and loved. One of those tragedies that do happen in the Fancy.
